“The NRS Media programme sells the station in a professional manner and brings discipline, great training and a new approach.” – Kieran McGeary, Chief Executive, C103
In 2008, Ireland was hit by the biggest recession the country had ever seen, which had an immediate impact on advertising spend. C103’s Chief Executive Kieran McGeary quickly realized that the station would need to find new and innovative ways of selling its advertising in order to survive and thrive in such tough times. Kieran had used NRS Media in the past, and knew they could offer the specialist support his sales teams needed.
Enter NRS Media
C103 have now been running NRS Media’s Image Plus programme for seven successful years. Kieran McGeary says: “Running the NRS Media programme puts us in front of customers we may not have previously considered, and brings added focus and discipline to our work. It also delivers great training for our team, and allows us to bring people together who are normally spread across Ireland. It’s great to see them working together and developing their skills.” He added: “It’s also great for me, as it gives me the chance to get involved, see my team in action, gather feedback and get and overall feel for how the market is performing.”
And the future?
NRS Media hopes that their relationship with C103 will continue for at least another seven successful years, if not more.
