As with most media companies in Ireland, Galway Bay’s sales had been hit by the biggest recession the country had ever seen. The station was also competing with new marketing channels, particularly those that were attractive to small businesses. Managing Director Keith Finnegan knew the company needed some expert help to find new revenue and meet their bottom line.
Enter NRS Media
Keith had heard about NRS Media’s successful track record, especially when it came to training and motivating teams to achieve success, so was keen to work with them.
Galway Bay got started immediately with the Image Plus programme, which involved working with NRS Media to build their database of prospects. The partnership met all of their expectations and in their first year they brought 25 new customers on board. In the second year, the growth continued and they hit 45 new customers. Keith said: “It’s a great programme and we’re really happy with the results, although I have to admit the second year was easier that the first!” He added: “I’ve also been seriously impressed by the training, and can see that staff morale has been given a real boost.”
And the future?
Keith and his team are looking forward to working with NRS Media next year.
