What do you love about your role?
What I love about NRS Media is the family atmosphere that has been created here. The staff, the managers, our global leaders all make you feel like you are instantly part of a team with such a warm welcome. The role is continuously evolving and challenges us to be better both professionally and personally. The continuous support and guidance we receive in the office is something that is hard to come by. When working with various media partners, we get to travel, interact with representatives and business owners all around the world. We have a real opportunity to help local businesses succeed in their marketplace which is truly a rewarding experience.
What has been your career path to date, how did you progress to the NRS Media role?
I have worked in customer service and sales all of my working life. I worked for a non-profit organization as an inside and outside sales representative, event coordinator, worked as an server in a few different large restaurants, and went to school for business marketing. I always loved marketing and sales and this job is a perfect mix between the two! The continuous media training and knowledge we receive has really developed my overall skills. I was seeking a job where I could continuously grow, challenge myself and develop.
How long have you worked for NRS Media?
I started working at NRS Media in January 2016. So much has happened this past year! The growth is continuous and look forward to the evolving progression within the company.
What’s different about working for NRS Media?
One thing that I love about working at NRS Media is that every day is different. Different businesses you interact with and the desire to provide a solution to a business owner who may be struggling. The business atmosphere that the global leaders and managers have developed here is a thriving, interactive and fun environment. All roles within the company come together and positively impact each other on a day to day.
What have you learned during your time at NRS Media?
I have really learned how to achieve sales success. I have grown immensely in my ability to develop strong relationships with clients and quality business conversations. My media knowledge is something that is always evolving and have learned so much about the small to medium sized business community. NRS is a company I truly love being a part of.
