What do you love about your role?
This role has a unique combination of developing people´s skills, growing team spirit and creating multiple win situations. We help sales teams facing their daily job from a different angle, using new skills and becoming more efficient at what they do. I´ve experienced how Account Executives keep using the tools and techniques learnt at my trainings – it becomes part of who they are after the programme. I love the feedback I receive from SME’s who attend our seminars, their willingness to start doing “it” right and the fact that, year on year, I see people´s businesses growing thanks to our marketing initiatives.
What has been your career path to date, how did you progress to the NRS Media role?
I joined the company bringing a mix of sales experience and technical background. My studies and experience as an Architect gave me many soft skills that I keep using everyday: ability to learn fast, to adapt to changing environments, to read, use and enjoy data, to manage multiple projects simultaneously, etc. Also, having previous international experience and having lived for two years in Berlin helped me in adapting quickly to this exciting life style.
How long have you worked for NRS Media?
I joined the company in June 2014… time flies!
What’s different about working for NRS Media?
You meet very different people in many different situations through many different stages. Being an Account Director at NRS Media means that you deal with Managing Directors, Sales Managers, Sales Teams, Finance teams and Administration. You become part of their family, understanding their needs and helping them in many ways. The interaction and the outcome of this professional relationship is one of the most rewarding aspects of working at NRS Media.
What have you learned during your time at NRS Media?
Where do I start? I see this role as an Advanced and Accelerated Business School. You learn from your colleagues, from your clients, from the constant contact with National and International SME´s and from yourself by facing new challenges, adapting to new scenarios and learning new skills every day.
