NRS Media, formerly New Revenue Solutions, was founded as a consultancy firm in New Zealand in 1991.
Founding directors, Doug Gold and Brian Duffy were leaders in New Zealand’s radio industry. Having both been heavily involved in the radio business for years, they saw an opportunity to take their combined media experience to a new level, generating new, incremental revenue for Media Partners around the world.
This talent for offering successful innovative solutions gave birth to New Revenue Solutions.
Shortly after, current Director Mike Brunel joined to take over the New Zealand operations and Brian launched the business to Australia.
Always with an eye to expand, they looked at opportunities globally and began running programs in the US in 1995, finally setting up an office in 1997. Initially, programs had been created for radio alone, however the US market proved the compatibility of NRS Media’s sales concepts with television as well.
Following on from this success, we now work in all mainstream media and have established offices in the UK (2002), Canada (2003) and Europe (2004), with the Australian (International) office now incorporating emerging markets in Asia and Africa. To help the company continue its rapid expansion, Craig Thompson was brought in as a Director in 2006 and made Chairman of the Board in 2007.
After years of enormous growth, we have transitioned from a company of four individuals in New Zealand to more than 170 employees internationally. In 2008 the decision was made to relaunch New Revenue Solutions as NRS Media in conjunction with releasing a new suite of revenue-generating solutions to the market.
Today, the company continues to bloom. In the last year alone we wrote over US$300 million for our media partners worldwide! And our business plan sets the bar higher each year. This constant striving defines and underpins our success, both in the past and into the future, and the next few years will continue to see NRS Media grow exponentially.
