The Fairfax Community Network (FCN) ran the AD Impact™ solution across a number of their regional newspapers. These non-metro markets were feeling the effects of the economic downturn and consequently, advertisers were reducing their ad spend and commitment. Sales revenues began to slide across the network.
FCN engaged NRS Media for the implementation of an advertiser acquisition and retention solution and achieved year on year revenue increases of 200 per cent.
FCN was delighted by the success of the program. “It exceeded expectations in areas where I thought it would struggle and it found weaknesses where I thought we were really good,” said Martin Sellers. “It also excelled in areas I didn’t even consider. By the end of our second year we will have doubled revenues, set higher activity standards and have better trained and focused sales reps working in our business all year.”
